Fishing/Skiing Weekend

The Hawkesbury river is a great place to fish and water ski. Surrounded by national Park and State Forest, the waterways here at Berowra Waters are a beautiful place to enjoy. There are lots of deep bays, fishing holes and mangrove areas perfect for catching a range of fish such as flathead, bream, flounder, mulloway (jewfish), snapper, whiting and taylor. Don’t forget the mudcrabs, blue swimmer crabs, oysters and prawns. Five minutes up the river you can water ski and tube.

Make a weekend of it and stay at one of our water access only Berowra Waters accommodations, ranging from studios for two through to houses up to five bedrooms catering for 10 people. Our accommodation options come complete with a private pontoon with deep water offering a secure place to berth a fishing/skiing boat. Early morning starts or early evening fishing is not a problem when you are staying on the river. The Boab Boat – The Sportsrider, is just over 5 metres long and has a 110 hp outboard engine making it an ideal fishing and skiing boat for up to six adults.
