Strand on the Green is a cute little two bedroom, one bathroom cottage right down on the water. Both bedrooms are spacious with queen beds. This is one of only two properties that you can walk into but still have the unique experience of staying in accommodation that gives you the feel of water access only. The private pontoon out the front of the property allows you to swim, fish and launched the kayaks provided to explore the river. If you wish to bring your own boat along then you can berth it right out the front on the pontoon or you can hire one from the Marina.
Strand on the Green has been beautifully furbished and offers stunning river views. This cute cottage has a combustion fireplace in the living area making it nice and cosy during the cooler months plus air conditioning for the warmer season. Complete with a BBQ and outdoor furniture this property allows you to enjoy al fresco dining and the outdoors. WiFi and smart TV are available, plus all the mod cons provided in the kitchen. All you need to do is bring along your food and drinks!
From this property you can walk to the two dining options available, Water Vista Café and A Chef Secrets. If dining at the Berowra Waters Inn, they will arrange boat transfers from the property to the restaurant and return. The Great North Walk is just minutes away if you wish to go for a hike and enjoy the surrounding bushland.
